In order to successfully deploy our robust year-round menu of activities and programming, we need your help! Our sponsorship guide overviews the many opportunities that exist to partner on events in all of our Five Pillars of Pride. In addition to June PrideFest Weekend events such as the Pet Parade, Pride Stride, and Silent Disco, we produce events that also include the Speaker Series, Gala & Awards Ceremony, Book Club and Storytellers. The guide also contains an overview of the requested donation amounts and benefits of each sponsorship.
All sponsorship donations are used to pay for facilities, performer fees, awards, and promotions. Capital City Pride is committed to giving back to Des Moines and LGBTQ+ community by making nearly all of our events free to the public because of the generous support of our sponsors.
We want you to get involved. Not only do we need our financial sponsors, Capital City Pride is also able to make an impact in our community because of our incredible volunteers. This is one of the simplest, and yet most meaningful, ways to help out our cause.
